Public Education / Community Event Request

The Aurora Fire Department strives to “Provide Exceptional Service by Well Trained Professionals” in all that it undertakes. In exemplifying this mission, the department continues to provide quality community programs with the resources that are allocated. The department will provide a level of education and or community support to civic organizations, individual community members, and community groups so long as the requests allow the emergency response personnel to remain “in-service.” “In-service” in this context means that personnel are available to respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day. Please know this could result in a delay or disruption to your event. To maintain department integrity and ethical standards the department will evaluate all requests for department personnel, apparatus and participation. We will make every effort to approve those requests that do not specifically promote private business interests or place the department in a compromising situation.
