City of Aurora Campaign Finance
CAMPAIGN STATEMENT REPORT OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND EXPENDITURES

In accordance with Aurora City Code, Section 54-105(a) and (b), City Council candidate committees and all committees created to support or oppose Aurora ballot items are required to file contribution and expenditure reports.


These reports shall be filed until the committee account shows a zero balance and a termination statement has been filed. 

For 2019:

        1st Contributions and Expenditures report due 90 days prior to election (August 7, 2019)

        2nd Contributions and Expenditures report due 60 days prior to election (September 6, 2019)

        3rd Contributions and Expenditures report due 30 days prior to election (October 7, 2019)

  • Please note, Section 54-106(a) of the City’s Code states, “If the reporting day falls on a weekend or legal holiday, the report shall be filed by the close of the next business day.”

        4th Contributions and Expenditures report due 14 days before election (October 22, 2019)

        5th Contributions and Expenditures report due the Friday before election (November 1, 2019)

        Final Contributions and Expenditures report due 30 days after election (December 5, 2019)

        Annual Contributions and Expenditures report due November 1, 2019 (for all committees with fund balances from elections prior to 2019)
