City of Aurora Campaign Finance
CAMPAIGN STATEMENT REPORT OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND EXPENDITURES
In accordance with Aurora City Code, Section 54-105(a) and (b), City Council candidate committees and all committees created to support or oppose Aurora ballot items are required to file contribution and expenditure reports:

“In an election year, all candidate, issue, political, and exploratory committees must file reports on the 90th day, on the 21st day, on the Friday before, and 30 days after the municipal election...(and) shall file such reports annually, on the first day of the month in which the anniversary of the municipal election occurs."


These reports shall be filed until the committee account shows a zero balance and a termination statement has been filed. 

For 2016:

  • Annual Contributions and Expenditures report due November 1, 2016 (for all committees with fund balances from prior elections)

For 2017:

        1st Contributions and Expenditures report due 90 days prior to election (August 9, 2017)

        2nd Contributions and Expenditures report due 21 days prior to election (October 17, 2017)

        3rd Contributions and Expenditures report due Friday prior to election (November 3, 2017)

        4th Contributions and Expenditures report due 30 days after election (December 7, 2017)

        Annual Contributions and Expenditures report due November 1, 2018 (for all committees with fund         balances from prior elections)
